Payroll asks me for the pay period dates when I create a paycheque.
I never know what dates to use for this. I create a paycheques every
two weeks but arent there certain guidelines as to when a pay period
starts and ends?

Thanks

Unless there's special rules in Canada you should take the end of the
pay period to be the last day's work you include in the payroll
calculation. The next pay period would start the next day.
