QB2006 Premier Acct Edition, R7
View=Customer List w/Transaction Detail with ALL selected for customizable
fields.
Many of the customers/jobs aren't showing any transactions. Quick Reports
come up blank (I *always* choose ALL as the view so its not a date range
issue).
In order to find known transactions like deposits from or checks to the
customers/jobs I have to use Find or the Job Profitability Summary Report.
I'm still fairly new to this version because its been so heinously buggy
that I stuck with my other versions for the most part. This is a client
file created by me, on only my computer, been working in for about 5 months,
doing 2 years of back-entry.
Now that the back-entry is done I'm starting to get into the daily entry and
am finally using screens like working with customers and looking things up
but am finding that the information, while there and entered correctly,
isn't showing up in the places it should be.
In the strange event that it matters...while doing back entry I didn't use
customer/vendor centers or the CoA list. I didn't use Bills/Invoices/Write
Checks/Make Deposits. I entered all transactions, from bank statements, via
the bank register(s) and created necessary customers/vendors/accounts from
that screen. Its possible that somehow QB is bugged in that fashion but its
the only thing differently than I do on a daily basis with all of my other
clients and in all of my other versions.
Is anyone else having this problem? Is anyone else doing Quick Reports on
customers only to have them show up empty or clicking a customer in the
Customer List and seeing no transactions show up?
