Why does quickbooks need to access "my pictures"

Why does quickbooks need to access "my pictures" MDBJ 10-13-2006

after a recent update, my docs were offline (not connected to the
install- they had been off for a while) but the update failed with
error 1606 could not access locatoion ...my documentsmy pictures

why does quickbooks NEED my pictures?

Maybe it places the logo/graphics files in my pics?

(My company logo is in a BMP file which is what it may be
looking for.)

Picture ID to verify you are the license holder?

Just a guess. Did you modify a template for an invoice/purchase order/sales
reciept etc. to include a logo? Where is the file that contains the logo?

My inclination is your logo. On my quickbooks invoice there is a
logo, a logo in BMP format that quickbooks plugs into the final
printerd invoice.

Maybe when you attached the logo it resided in your my pictures file?

I would asume everytime I print that invoice Quickbooks is accessing
that .bmp file.
