QB 2008 Pro, standard payroll

I produce six W-2's and a W-3. IRS requires the use of their red paper
forms for submission to the SocSecAdmin. If I try to print the SSA copies
onto the IRS red paper forms, QB overprints the entire form, rather than
just the data.

Is there any way around this short of paying a bundle for the enhanced
payroll?

Yes. use plain paper. The SSA will accept plain paper W-2s and w-3s printed
from QB.

You can also change the box in the wizard from plain paper to preprinted
forms. Its is at the top of the screen where you select what forms to print.

Thanks. Between messages I had verified this with IRS.
