Hello,
I'm going to reformat/reload my computer. Are there any files I should save
other than the company QBB? Is it ok just to insert the file back into QB 06
pro after I reinstall the software?
thanks mc

If you have customized any forms and included logos to them then you also
need to save the image files. Look for them in a folder with the name
"- Images".

Before you create the back up file, check for updates. Once you have
reinstalled QB, check for updates so that the program is at the same release
level as your QBB file. Then restore your backup file.

That always caught me out.
Opening one of the sample files or creating a new business file to
enable version upgrade is worth remembering before the panic hits.
