 Does anyone know how you put the credit card entry icon on the
toolbar? Currently I have to use drop down menus to add a credit card
transaction.

 Open the "enter credit card purchases/charge", then go to "View", "enter
credit card.........to icon bar"

Is there any way to get rid of the huge "Center" icons on the upper
left?

If you mean the Customer, Vendor, Employee and Report Center Icons, you can
hide them by going to the View Icon and on the drop down menu uncheck the
Navigation Bar entry.
