I initially installed our 2008 Pro Multi User as a single user on my
computer while we were looking for a new bookkeeper. Well we've finally
found one and I want to change to a multi-user setup but I want their
computer to be the host of the company data instead of mine. What's the best
way to do this? Should I export the company on my computer, install QB and
import the company on their computer, then switch both of ours to a multi
user? Or will I need to uninstall QB from my computer? Or can I just copy
the company folder from my computer and paste it into their computer?
Basically I'm a little fuzzy on how to move the company folder and make the
new computer the admin... and even though I've read the help section on a
multi-user install I haven't actually tried it yet so I'm a little fuzzy on
that as well.
