Quickbooks 2007 is the only version that is fully compatible with Vista.
None of the prevous versions of Quickbooks will work correctly.

Yes. Don't upgrade to Vista!

If you don't, you'll be stuck using (at best) a six-year old operating
system.

Might as well be using Linux.
