Friday my dear old PC bit the dust.
I have 3 QB 2004 Pro licenses, one as a single and the other as a double.
the single and one of the double licenses are still active on their
installed machines but my machine now won't accept the installation(?)
number that corresponds to the previous installation of the same install
and licence numbers as printed from the now dead PC.

I can't refresh the licence on-line.
Should I have registered the software _before_ patching with all updates
or will I have to phone Intuit in the UK?

I get the feeling they won't help as 2004 became "unsupported" a moth or
2 ago.

Cheers
Pete

If you have license number/registration key, then you should be able
to enter it into QB. Look under the help menu.

You're right that they no longer 'support' 2004, but I think it was
over a year ago--they just quit supporting 2005 over here. It sounds
like it is time to upgrade your software anyway!

Never needed support and don't use payroll/tax tables etc so as long as
it does what it's always done I have no need to upgrade...
Except... Now I have it working again it's on Vista and I can't print
anything.
Seems like a common problem with Vista and older versions of QB.

Of course not, just make a .pdf and e-mail to yourself and have a "Made by
Microcrap" product send it to your printer!
