reporting only some payment methods

Hello there -
I have been trying to generate reports that will show only credit card
payments or only cash/check payments. When I use the filter function
(select multiple payment methods, then which payment methods I want)
and apply it, all the data disappears from the report, regardless of
whether or not it was actually paid by the method I selected to
include.
Does anyone know how to make this feature work properly??

Yes, don't filter on payment type, filter on the accounts.

Try printing the registers.

Modify the report and filter on transaction type selecting on "check" and
"credit card".
