If you download your recent transactions from TIAA-CREF using web
connect, the asset values of your CREF accounts will be updated. I'm
not certain how much lag time there is on the asset values.
Since I am interested in only two CREF securities, I just copy and
paste the values from the performance page at http://www.tiaa- cref.org/performance/retirement/index.html. That page is usually
updated three or four hours after the NYSE closes, although it is
sometimes longer. I find this easier than using web connect to
download transactions just to get current values.
