When I withdraw money from my ATM, it appears as a deduction from my savings account when I do online updates with my bank -- perfect. But what I'd like is to have it automatically add that withdrawal amount into my "cash expenditures" account as an addition / deposit / transfer; right now, I have to do that manually. Is there a way to tell Quicken to move ATM withdrawals into my cash expeditures account, or do I just have to remember to do this manually? You may need to put in a Naming rule so that these transactions get translated to a unique Payee name. Assign a category for that Payee name. Next time a cash withdrawal comes through Q will remember the Payee name and category. Review the Memorized Payee List and make sure there is only one transaction for that payee.
