FWIW, my Quicken folder contains the following file:
printenv.exe 50 KB 5/7/2007 2:17 PM
Does that match yours?

Yes, that matches the one on my system.

What happens if you double click on your copy? When I try this
with mine, I get the hour glass for a moment and then nothing --
not that different from what happens when I try to print an
envelope within Quicken.

I get the "Quicken Print Envelopes" window with the message:
"Failed to create empty document"
I click OK, and the window closes.

We might be on to something.
