Ally Bank CD comes up as credit card

Using Q2009,
decided to walk thru the new account setup wizard
to see how it worked in Q2009 vs previous versions....
this was my first NEW account under Q2009.
The Ally Bank download created the account for the 6mos CD,
but tagged it as a Credit Card.
I can live with that, but just wondering how & why it came it that way...

I've noticed that my HSBC Online Payment account, essentially a checking
account, will only download as a credit card.
I can live with it too.

since I just opened the CD account,
I was waiting until the initial deposit was posted & then check again..
Today the deposit was posted (looked directly online).
OK - did the online update...
Well - Q2009 downloaded the account info & balance,
BUT didn't correlate it to the "credit card" account,
but wanted to save it as a "savings" entry.... so I let it.
Then I just deleted the original enpty "credit card" entry.

Now that the account has an actual balance,
I might just delete the current "savings" enty,
and re-create the account with the wizard
just to see if it still creates it as a "credit card"
vs the "savings"..
