Hi AR,
I have Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 3. Originally Show Tag Field
was selected and the attachment Icon was located under the Date Field.
I unchecked Show Tag Field and restarted Quicken. The Attachment icon
remained under the Date Field.
I rechecked Show Tag Field and restarted Quicken. The Attachment icon
remained under the Date Field.
In all cases, the attachment opens up.
Question: When installing or updating Quicken, was the background
Anti-Virus Scanner disabled?
I would suggest that you uninstall Quicken 2009. Reboot and reinstall
Quicken 2009 with the Anti-Virus disabled and see what happens.
