I just upgraded to Quicken 2007. The attachments feature is nice. Until now
I have been scanning all my receipts and important documents into Acrobat.
It appears Quicken makes a jpg out of them but I can't figure out where it
stores the data.
I use Quicken Online backup and:
1). I need to know how much extra data this is and where it is located so I
know if it is possible with the amount of storage I own.
2) If not, I would like to back it up manually to DVD's as I have with all
my receipts previously.
Thanks in advance for anyhelp,
Craig
(Using Quicken since version 1 for DOS 1985)

Note that recent threads (w/in the last 24 hours) in this same NG say there
might be a problem with DVD backups.

Thanks for the reply. I had read that thread. My questions was aimed towards
which extra files are there to back up with the attachements. I need to see
how big they actually are so I can size my on-line backup appropriately.

I'd suggest the following:
Make a new attachment file from within Quicken. Then search for *.jpg with
the current date. You may be getting lots of files from your browser's
cache, but sorting them (in detail view) according to path/directory may
find the one Quicken just made. That directory should <haha> hold all the
jpgs Quicken made (I hope).
