I open the same file each time.
My backups are done by Q but they are directed to a folder on an
external USB drive I use for this and other backups. These drives are
pretty cheap now and they work like a charm. Separate partitions on the
drive make things cleaner. If anything happens while I'm home I'll
unplug the external drive and run like H*ll! It has a current copy of
my OS partition and the data backups of and from various programs like
email, Quicken, newsgroups etc. If I leave for an extended period I
store the drive in a "safe" place.
