I'd say you got a load of baloney from the BofA person. I have a
checking account, money market account, CD and credit card with BofA,
and since their recent "upgrade" of the credit card web site, I can't
express download daily transactions in Quicken 2007 Premier anymore. I
can log on to the website with IE7 and "see" them, but Quicken can't
download them except at the end of a statement cycle.

Hello, John!
You wrote on Sun, 19 Nov 2006 22:28:57 GMT:

While I only have a credit card account with BofA, their comment about
different rules applying is also hogwash. I have a Discover and a Chase Visa
and have no problem getting express downloads of daily transactions for
those credit card only accounts. I'm using 2004 Deluxe BTW.

Thanks,

Colonel Blip.

Discover card is one. But it has limited access in stores. I like Citibank
as well. American Express also downloads on a day-to-day basis.

Bank of America, Sears Card, and a number of others use end of statement
downloads.

Bank of America is particularly nasty. Gonna dump the business and personal
cards in that bank ASAP.

Have been watching folks comment on month-end download from BoA. I was a
long-time MBNA card user and could never download except when new statement
appeared. As such, don't find much to mutter about with BoA.

Of course, if other MBNA users were able in past to download daily, then I
may have been missing out on a good thing.

I'm with Mr. Jay - same experience exactly.
And to add to that - BofA is not unique in that; CapitalOne comes to
mind as doing same thing.
