Hello,

Ten years ago I was using a version of Quicken that would let me do a
bar chart with a bar for each actual vs. budget expense/income for
each of my categories.

I'm currently using Quicken 2007 Deluxe and I don't see a way to do
this.

Is this possible? Everything I see is just columns of numbers, which
isn't as easy for me to interpret at a glance.

I have no idea what was available 10 years ago, but today you'd
find what you ask for in the Budget "report" (and graph).

I don't see it. I can see pie charts showing me the percentages of
all my spending. I can see a bar chart that has really broad "super-
categories" like "discretionary spending". I don't see any way to
drill down to the level that I used to be able to get. To have a pair
of columns for each category: one for actual, one for budgeted.

Customize the report "Organization" ("Display" tab) to "Income &
Expense".
