Billminder showing double entries Dan C. 01-27-2008

I reinstalled quicken 2006 with data files from my old pc. Now I have
duplicate entries in billminder., for scheduled transactions.
The one clears fine, but the other just stays there. When I click on it,
and quicken opens, there is nothing there because it's alreay cleared. How
can I get rid of these duplicate entries from showing up and getting rid of
the ones that are there now?
Thanks

Dan

Locate the file QW.RMD and rename it. The next time you exit
Quicken, a new QW.RMD should be created.

John,
That does not work,.There is no qw.rmd file. I have a billmind_qwrmd.dll
file, which i renamed, but quicken did not start.

Any other ideas?

It's there. That's where the reminders are stored. You
probably do not have Windows Explorer displaying hidden files.

My guess it's in a quicken folder under Documents and Settings,
if you are running under XP.

[Vista has a different name for what was Documents and Settings
... and I think, it's more difficult to see things in Vista,
someone else may need to help you if you have Vista.]

John,
You were right. I did not have "search hidden files" selected in search
options, even though I always show all files...
I renamed it, it was recreated. All seems well now.

Many thanks
