Subject says it all. I installed Quicken 2007 Deluxe on a freshly
formatted partition with an new Windows XP install.

I restored my data files and then clicked on Billminder to tell it to
run when Windows opens but it would not run. Browsed to Program
Files/Quicken and double clicked Billminder.exe, it doesn't run, just
sits there inert. Rebooted, no help.

Removed Quicken, removed all registry entries and all Intuit entries in
Documents and Settings, rebooted, reinstalled Quicken, restored data,
no use, Billminder still won't start.

Oh, deleting QW.RMD doesn't help....

Any help would be much appreciated.

I've always had to drag a copy of the Billminder program icon from the
Quicken folder to the Startup folder under Start | All Programs to get it to
run automatically on startup.

I appreciate that but you misunderstand my post, Billminder will NOT
RUN. I can drag it to the startup folder and it will not run, I can
double click on it in the Quicken folder and it will not run. No way
can I get it to open, run, anything.

Example, move your mouse pointer to the word "folder" in the above
paragraph and double click. What happens? Nothing happens and that's
exactly what happens when I double click on Billminder.exe

However, we'll see. Disaster struck again trying to use Acronis to
restore my files again so I was forced to format and, once again,
install XP (I'm getting REALLY good at this!) so I'll have to re-
install Quicken and maybe this time it'll work?

OK, now it's working. Don't know what the problem was before but it's
fine now.

PS, I don't recommend a format harddrive and re-install everything as a
fix for Billminder but since I had to do it anyway.... <sigh>

Who the HELL with any organization whatsoever, even NEEDS Billminder?
Useless waste of bytes.
