I've been thinking about my Vanguard Bond Index fund - VBMFX -
and was looking at my Q2009 holdings vs security detail.

I put in $10k back in 2007, and every month since then is a dividend of
about $42
which are re-invested...
The Quicken fund overview screen just really shows Market Value vs Cost
Basis
which today are $11,291 and $11,173.

BUT - there is nothing that really shows the ROI of the monthly dividends...
which is about 4.80 % - in fact the Overview and Recent Perf screens
would have you believe that the perf is only a 1.06 % gain...

SO - I'm a little skeptical of Quicken's info with regard to dividends...vs
performance...
