I have been trying to move a Quicken file from one computer to another using
a backed up data base written to a CD.

When I try to load it I get a Quicken message that says "Disk not Ready"

I have even transferred the files to a folder on the computer that I am
trying to use.... but I get the same error message.

I have sent a note to Quicken.... but thought some of you here might have a
fix for me.
Thanks

John...

Thanks..

I did get a response from Quicken but their answer dealt with Zip Disks and
did not speak to my issues.

On my own I did exactly what you suggested... and it worked!

Thanks for the note and suggestion!
I think they have an issue with the new version of Quicken when you attempt
to start a newly installed copy of the program by saying that you are an
existing Q user,

Happy Friday!
