Cancelling automatic splits in downloaded transactions

How to I cancel automatic splits for downloaded transactions in Quicken
2008? Quicken has memorized the split transactions for a trip to TOPS
Supermarket from three years ago and I can't get rid of them. Each
downloaded TOPS transaction has split lines for "bread", "cereal", and
"milk"; the amount difference is not assigned a category. I would like
everything from TOPS assigned to an unsplit "groceries" category. How
do I do this?

Try going to 'Memorized Payee List' under Tools (Ctrl-T), and deleting
the TOPS entry.
