I have reports that are categorized... example Automobiles Fuel report.
When I click it, it has an outdated date... back in 2003. Therefore I have
to change the date to the last quarter 3/31/06. I run the report.
With my limited brain power, it makes sense to me to save the report so that
the date is not so far off.. next time I run the report. When I try to save
it, Quicken does not know the folder that it goes into. So I tell it the
folder. Then I change the name on the title so that it matches perfectly.
As I save it, it asks me if I want to over right the existing report. All
okay so far. I overnight the report. When I go back to the report folder,
it shows 2-reports with the same name. I review them and they are the same.
Therefore, I delete one of the reports. To my astonishment, both reports
are deleted and I'm lost.
What is going on with this report system.
