I'm considering changing banks. Can the account information I have in
Quicken be transferred to the new bank(Wachovia) without having to
reenter account #s, addresses,etc

THanks

Not sure what you want to transfer to Wachovia. Memorized transactions in
your Quicken files, such as you used them with your previous bank, may need
to be edited to reflect the changeover, but Quicken info stays Quicken
info.

I'm having a hard time deciphering exactly what you want to do;
I think some more information would have been (and my still be)
helpful.

If you are asking whether you can keep the exact same Online
Payee List you have now, when you move to a new bank, the answer
is ... it depends. It depends on whether the new financial
institution uses the same online billpay processor that your
current institution uses. I think that If both fi's use the
same billpay processor, you can probably keep your current
Online Payees, unchanged; if not, you probably have to re-enter
those Online Payees.

[I do not know of any simple way to determine the bill payor for
a given financial institution ... except to call the fi and ask
them.]

Thanks...You answered my question. Now I know what to ask when I talk
with the bank.
