Quicken 2006 Premier, XP Sp2.
If Quicken can't match the name for a downloaded transaction (like a
dividend) it creates a substitute name e.g. SEC_5. It has a lot of
trouble matching, really bad with options.
It's easy enough to determine what the payee should be - but when you
try to change it in the linked cash account, it tells you that you
have to change it in the transaction. You can do that, but the change
isn't reflected in the cash account.
It has the same problem if you try to change the status of a
transaction, like from R to c.
I've reported this as a bug, but nothing has happened.
