this is a weird one....
We have our checking at Chase, and I've setup 2 online web ID's for online
web access.
Both ID's can login to the Chase website, and see all of our checking
accounts...

OK - now I've only used 1 ID for Quicken 2006 access to the Chase accounts.
I wanted to try the other ID, and merely changed the User ID in the Quicken
online acct info.
It will not work - it fails - saying that the ID or password is
incorrect.... but it works fine for logging in ???

I even tried to setup a NEW account, just to walk thru the steps....
Using our normal ID, it says all the accounts are already setup, and
basically cancels out.
Using our other ID, it fails indicating the ID or password is incorrect ?

Any ideas why the ID works fine for actually logging into the Chase site &
seeing all the accounts,
but fails when used for online access via Quicken 2006 ?

ok... DUH - I called Chase support -
and it appears there is a toggle/activate on the Customer Service screen
that basically turns ON the Quicken download update capability.... a
security feature.
So - clicked it on, and now it works...
Guess it was so long ago when I setup the other ID, I didn't even recall
that function,
but "logic" said there had to be something blocking the Quicken download
update access.
