I have Q2005. Never had a problem downloading transactions. Now the program
has two options for Quicken programs. Both do the same thing claim they send
x number of transactions, but nothing shows up in Quicken.
Tried calling the Quicken at 877 999 3872 was referred twice last one gave
me a special number for Quicken but apparently I got it wrong. I hate to go
thru the routine at Quicken to get the correct number. It took me 15 minutes
the first time.
Anybody had similar problem downloading?

Ok. Once again, carefully this time. The subject is Chase download - so I am
guessing you are trying to download transactions from Chase bank into your
Quicken file. You are using the 2005 version.

?? Just guessing here.
Are you saying the Chase banking site gives you two options for Quicken
download? What are the two options?

Are you downloading a QIF file? If so, your next step is to import the
transactions.

That's not a number for Intuit/Quicken. Google shows it to be a number for
Cardmember Services at First Bank USA

Quicken is software. Intuit is the software manufacturer. I suspect you are
not calling Intuit, but are calling your financial institutions helpline. If
you are still having problems then it just might be worth it to call again.

I have no clue just what problem you are having. One thing you might try is
to disable the online banking option for the account you are having problems
with. Close Quicken. Restart and then use the wizard to enable online
banking again.

Chase took over First Bank (at least the CC operations, for sure). So it's
logical that a call to the old FB number would connect with Chase. (I used
to have a First Bank card that is now with Chase.)

Sure, it's logical to call the FI. Thing is, the OP thinks somehow he is
"calling the Quicken". Problem is probably not a Quicken problem, but a
problem in the OP setup of the account with the Financial Institution.

The post is mangled. And I would guess the CitiBank customer service reps
are probably not gonna work too hard if the OP tells them he wants to talk
to Intuit. If the OP can post his problem here, or even clarify his request
for the proper phone number, I am sure someone in the ng can help. For sure,
calling Intuit can do nothing but cost him money.

are you doing the Quicken One-Step update where Q2005 contacts the bank
directly ?
or - are you visiting the bank website & manually clicking on the website
"download transactions" ?

What are the 2 options you are mentioning ?
