Check Register Window Question Please Bob Newman 12-31-2007

 I am using 2008 for the first time. In the register view at the bottom of
the screen is a window with two tabs "Download Transactions" & "Scheduled
Bills & Deposits". How do I change the default so this window does not
appear? I do not see that choice in the preferences.

There is a sort of minimize arrow near the right top border of that lower
window. AFAIK, that's it.

First thing I do when there are transactions to review, is either accept
or reject them. Then that window will minimize and stay so, in my
experience.

There is a register "option" to "hide Downloaded/Scheduled
tabs".

I think it is only usable for accounts that are not activated
for downloading; and if the account has a Scheduled Transaction
in need of processing, the tabs will return, and can't be hidden
again until the account's Scheduled Transactions are processed.
