I have two different IRA's, at Ameritrade, and now am combining them at
Ameritrade. How do I do that in Quciken 2004? I don't want to lose ten
years of stock trades. Thanks for any suggestions.

I may be able able to answer my own question....export a QIF file of
one account, and import to the other, right?

Basically, that should work. After successful import, delete
the old account.

(I would examine each imported transaction carefully in the
"Accept transactions into register" window before Accepting it.
QIF file matching rules are much more liberal than those for
matching OFX downloads: make sure any "Match" is a true match,
or use "Make New" ... though I assume you are not expecting any
matches at all.)

If you already are downloading transactions from these accounts (that's a
big assumption), wouldn't that automatically 'merge' the accounts as part of
the transactions you're directing Ameritrade to do?
