I have QD 2004 and will need to upgrade or replace soon. I thought I
saw a post that said there was a $20 coupon inside the retail boxes of
QD 2007 for users that are upgrading. Is that true? The upgrade
price on the Intuit web site is the same as a new user purchase ($49.99
for download).

I purchased TaxCut at Staples and got MS Money Deluxe for free (after
rebate). I installed it and am trying to decide if I should switch,
which would mean learning a new program and "tweaking" it to get the
desired displays and reports. I would prefer to stay with QD, but if
I have to spend $50 for the upgrade, I may make the change. (I'm a
Clark Howard type cheapskate).

Evaluate the worth of your time in dollars per hour, estimate how long to
learn & tweak. It's only math.

Let's see, it was a $20 coupon, right?
