I'm using Quicken Deluxe Windows 2007 R5 and one bug that keeps annoying
me is that if i have a large numeric amount in a field when I am editing
splits for a loan or paycheck or something, and only the last digit
needs to be changed, i.e. 123456.78 needs to be 123456.79, i generally
tab to that field, hit the 'End' button to get to the end, and press
backspace and enter the new number (9 in this case). very quick. but
that no longer works since i upgraded to 2007. i have to select the
whole field and type the whole number over again.

any idea when this will be fixed? is there an official way to report
bugs like this without spending support money??

I just tried this with Q2007 Premier, R5: it works for me.

No one outside Intuit would be able to answer such a question;
and Intuit almost never does. And since Q2008 is already being
beta tested, it's even more unlikely there will be any
announcements about fixes for Q2007.

Jerry:

I'm using H&B 2007 R5, and I can tab, use end, or right arrow, then
backspace to delete the last digit.
Works for splits in transactions, paychecks, and loans on my file.
Maybe that's a bug in Deluxe.
Does using the right arrow work any better than the end key?
