Yes, revert to the backup you made before downloading.

If you take a methodical approach, this should not be difficult
to solve.
One approach: Compare the transactions in the two accounts,
looking for transactions whose net amount is the difference
between the two balances. Start by comparing the number of
transactions, as reported in the Account List, to see if all
transactions got imported. If the number of transactions is the
same, divide them up (in a transaction report) and compare the
deposits in one account to the deposits in the other account ...
then the payments in each account. You could also create
transaction reports that subtotal by month, and look for
differences in each month between the two accounts. (You can
Customize the reports to show "Totals Only" to start, then when
you see differences between the two reports at the total level,
expand the report to show the individual transactions.)
