Seems to be that one weakness is handling of corp spin offs, and similar,
where the dates and cost basis of original transactions dont get carried
automatically over to new shares. Case in point was a real mess with FNF
and FIS and FNT changing names etc. I would not expect quicken to
necessarily work this out but I have found myself manually finding new cost
basis when shares are spun off and then need to go back and change the
date of acquisition of the new compary spin off to original purchase date of
the parent company. Perhaps I just dont do this transaction properly but
do seem to recall this as an ongoing weakness in Quicken
