I would say yes - no problems. May get a nag screen to 'unlock'
Premier the first time you open your file in Dlx - QW recognizes that
you have 'downgraded' - but it goes away.

If you don't use the extra 'bells & whistles' why pay for them. Doubt
you will loose any functionality as to managing your finances.

Yes, you pay the incremental charge - can unlock on-line.

My comments are based on first-hand experience with running QW07 Basic
and Delx - I swap my file-set back and forth between versions. Basic
handles my needs very well - downloading various accounts, tax
reporting, managing rentals, etc..
If I were still contributing to a 401k account, I would choose Delx -
but no more. Basic does not include the 401k account, nor does it
support doc attachment. I haven't found the doc attachment feature
compelling.
