Some of my investment companies will not down load directly to Quicken, but
will allow me to download a CSV file, How do I get this info into quicken.
Are there any written instructions to do this anywhere?

Rumor has it that different brokerages send the data formatted in different
ways. Therefore, it may be easiest to open the csv file(s) in Excel (or
whatever), massage the data and then transcribe it into Quicken.

The alternative is to transform the csv file into an OFX or QFX file using
the info posted here several times over the last few years.

Sorry, I don't have enough of this type of data to massage to automate it,
so I just go the Excel way.

1) Download the CSV file. Be sure to note where you download is and the
file name.

2) Select "Investing" on the Accounts list

3) Select "File/Import/Prices"

4) Enter the file name, including the path. Be sure to change the date
to the date of the prices.

That will import the prices.
