Would like to hear from people who use ETrade Banking and also in
conjunction with Quicken. Interested in what version of quicken you are
using and if you are satisfied with results of downloading etc..

I am an ETrade customer since April of this year. Although Q2007P has
integrated Web Connect into one step update, I have not been able to
get this set-up. Intuit indicates that the error is on their server
and it is not ETrade Bank's fault.

I have more unhappen with ETrade Bank's Website. Balances are updated
fairly quickly, but you do not see the transactions for a couple of
days (in process....pending, etc.) and can't download them until they
make it out of those status'.

My overall experience in Quicken 2007P is no different then 2006P.

Thank you for your reply. When ETrade had the register feature I used that
by posting my hand written checks to that feature and thus had a constant
correct balance. When the check cleared I then deleted my hand entry.

Now that ETrade has eliminated their register my balance is "off" by my
handwritten checks until they clear their system. Not a big deal since I
write very few checks but I'm darned if I'll pay quicken $10 a month for a
quicken bill pay when ETrade does it for nothing ( I keep a manual check #
log so I can reconcile daily with ETrades balance). Then again I'm using
quicken 2002

I do bill pay from ETrade. I would not fork out the $10. I see no
advantage as ETrade has to feed back the transactions. I would expect
no performance change.
