One Step Update worked fine in Q2007 until my banks all started using
"Enhanced login security" or "Multi Factor Authorization".
It seems that once setting up the authorization question(s), it works
fine in the browser outside Quicken i.e. no questions are asked to
access the account - but within Quicken the question must be answered
for each bank and each account at that bank. This defeats the utility
of OSU.
My question is: Does Q2008 do this any better?

This has bugged ne for quite awhile and I'll appreciate any comments

Ned:

In my situation, Q2008 H&B is no better Q2007 H&B.

I have checking and savings accounts at my local credit union.

Express Web Connect will work for a few days, then fail, and I would have to
de-activate and re-activate all over again.

So, I have just stuck with Web Connect, checking every quarter to see if the
situation has improved, hasn't so far :-(

i used Q06 for 2 yrs, downloading to desktop & importing. Q08 cant do
this; get msg " Quicken unable to verify financial institution
informationi for this download. Try again later."!!! Also refuses to
do one-step update; Quicken reports an error in the quicken server,
advises to try later & syas the bank cant fix this...?

If your problem is with "Express Web Connect", then your
comparison between Q2006 and Q2008 is meaningless; Q2006 did not
offer Express Web Connect.

If your problem is with Express Web Connect, revert any EWC
accounts that can't download to regular Web Connect accounts,
and download them as you did in Q2006.
