Error Message after Update PareReposte 03-14-2007

I'm running Q Deluxe 2007, (had the same problem with Q D 2006).

I use to have an account with BrownCo which was acquired by e-Trade. During
the last month before the acquisition, there was a box that would pop up
after the account was updated, (with One Step), that stated that you should
ensure to update your balances and holdings and that it would no loger be
available after x date. The box continues to be displayed even though the
acquisition was 06Q3. I can find no way to get rid of it. It appears that
the corresponding file with the words is no longer present since now I get
0129 in the box and no words. (The banner of the box is, "Important Message
from BrownCo".) At the time, I changed the account details to e-Trade and
renamed the account.

I was thinking of copying all the transactions, deleting and re-creating. I
couldn't find a way to select all the transactions at once. The only export
option I found was to create a QIF, however, I can't import them back into
an Investment account.

Any ideas?

Open the Online Center, hold down CTRL+F3 and click "Contact
Info". Select BrownCo in the drop down, then click Delete, then
OK. Do a One Step Update (with nothing checked if having any
boxes checked does not do the trick).

Thanks. It worked.
However, it worked in QD06/XP and didn't work in QD07/Vista. With 07 I
didn't get the delete choice and BrownCo was not listed. Just completed in
06 and imported the files.
