Export CSV - amount in one column? Evan Platt 07-30-2009

Running Quicken 2009, Looking at exporting my data (checking account
history) into another program. Program (Personal Finances Pro) can
import a CSV / TAB file.

Only problem is - based on what I can see - All I can do is Print
Transactions, and export to a tab deliminated file.

Only problem is this output puts 2 columns - payment and deposit.

Say a payment (check, withdrawl, etc) may be listed as 40.00 in column
3. A deposit (Paycheck, ATM deposit, credit, etc) is listed as say
10.00 in column 5. Problem is when I go to import, the app (Personal
Finances Pro) asks what column the amount is in. It's in two, but one
may be a withdrawl, one may be a deposit.

Any simple way to do what I'm trying to do?

This make sense?

:)

Thanks for any help.

Evan

Don't export the "Check Register" report (File > Print Transactions);
export the Banking > Transaction report.
