In using the FIND tool while in the register page, Quicken cannot find
matching entries when there are entries that match what I have in the
search field.

If I do a FIND ALL ,all entries are found. It is just on individual
"finds" that I get a message there are no matching entries.

What do I do to correct this. I saw a post on this issue a long time ago,
but cannot find it again.

FIND looks in the current register; FIND ALL looks in all
registers (actually, either all investment account registers, or
all non-investment account registers, depending on which type
account is open when you initiate the find).

Why do you care which one finds what you are looking for?
