The program installs fine. I go to enter the Unlock code, and that gets
accepted fine. Then it says "Click OK to restart Quicken...", and I get
this message:
"Quicken was unable to automatically restart to finish the unlock to
process. [sic] Please exit Quicken now and restart it manually (Place
holder message)."
So I do that - and it restarts fine. But now it has stopped automatically
loading my data file. It opens with just the File and Help menus, and I
have to physically select File > 1 to open my data file. Then I get the
"Welcome to Quicken 2006 Deluxe" splash screen. Every time. The program
works fine after that - but it's really annoying to have to manually open my
data file, when it used to work perfectly.
This started happening after a reinstall of XP about a week ago.
Any ideas? I've completely uninstalled and reinstalled, and re-unlocked,
and it didn't solve anything. Is there maybe a registry key that's gone
wonky or something?
