Help with decimal input, if there is any Jesse 03-05-2008

Folks

I have recently down graded from Quicken 2005 to Quicken 2008. I have
been a Quicken user for many years, mainly due to a lack of other
options. In the process of down grading to Quicken 2008, I can not
get use to having to input the decimal in my dollar amounts, which
Quicken use to do. ie: 50 use to become $50.00 automatically, now in
Quicken 08 it becomes $0.50. I know this is a minor DUH problem I
should be able to overcome, but I was wondering if anyone would know
of a way to get Quicken to automatically put the decimal in like it
use to. Thanks! Jesse

Hi, Jesse.

As in Q2005, Q2008 has a setting in Edit | Preferences | Quicken Program |
Register. Check the box to Automatically place decimal point.

Hey RC

OK, so I see, sure don't remember that being in Q05. PROBLEM! The
check box is checked and it isn't happening. Any ideas?

Well Dang! I "unchecked" the decimal check box, and now the decimal
is automatically input.

Thanks a million for your help! That was a minor thing, but sure was
a major frustration for me.
