I now am and have been using Q 2007 rel 5. When I set up auto downloads I
had 2 TD Waterhouse accounts. Now everything at Ameritrade has been changed
over so Waterhouse is no more. I can't seem to find a way to change the
name of the financial institution to TD Ameritrade from TD Waterhouse.

Is this possible?

Use the pull down list to choose the name, or call your FI to find out what
name is used with Quicken for your type account (there are several options
for commerce bank, for example)

My husband's Ameritrade account has the financial institution "Ameritrade" -
no TD in front of it.

You have to deactivate the account for download. Then
reactivate it, if the account does Direct download, otherwise
intiate a download from the fi's web site and that will
reactivate the account.

This morning with a fresher outlook, I tried again and found that once
deactivated, I could change the name with no problem. Unfortunately, it
seems to have downloaded everything from scratch again but since the
existing stuff was not deleted, I should be able to readjust things.
