I can not download transactions from Hewitt Associates. I enter the
same user id and password that the website requires (for the user id, I
follow Hewitt's instructions on appending the company code to my id)
but to no avail.

I saw old posts where users experienced the same issue but I did not
see any definitive problem resolution.

I use Q2006.

Any advice is appreciated.

I use Hewitt and no problem. It's your password plus the suffix.

For me with Hewitt, the account number is all 10 digits with a dash
("nn-nnnnnnnn"). The password is my user password (alphanumeric) plus the
company id (5 digits) with a dash between the two ("password-nnnnn"). Is
your format the same?

It's "account-xxxxx" and password. The password is the same that I log into
Hewitt no change.

Jeff,

Your format is the same as mine and it worked for me. I got a successful
download but the downloaded transactions did not distinguish between company
contributions, before tax and after tax contributions, and that is something
I want to track. So I still do the input semi-manually. I only update the
transactions about once a quarter so I just print the transactions on the
website cut and paste into Excel and sum up by company, before tax and after
tax categories. Excel does the math and I then input by hand. I suppose
accountants would frown on such practices but it is good enough for me. I
would not want to go in and edit each downloaded transaction by hand.
