I'm a little confused. I'm noticing a few things I've either ignored in the
past or I need to make some adjustment to the data file I've just converted
from Q2005HB to Q2008HB. I just went on line through the One Step Update and
hit my banks and brokerages. Perhaps this message has been there in the past
but I haven't noticed it in the "One Step Update Summary" window:
"Historical Prices - None of the requested securities were recognized".

My "Quotes" got serviced and my Investment accounts appear to have changed
in line with what was expected for Friday but I'm puzzled by the message. I'm
not intentionally recording historical prices anywhere. A brief scan of the
Help file speaks of download these by range but I've not done that in the
past. I simply update my net worth each day. most of the time.

Can someone give me some reassurance that I'm not missing something
important with regard to keeping an accurate accounting of my net worth? I
may well be overlooking another feature that I've never used but I hope it's
not a critical one.

I see the same message and simply assumed that it's there since I do
an update every evening, so there's no "historical" data to download.

I guess I could prove that (or at least get make a stronger
assumption) if I waited a few days between updates to see what
happens.
