How do I transfer a transaction from one account to another? Gary 10-09-2007

In trying to track down what may be a problem because of an unexpected
problem with my net worth (see my post "How do I run Net Worth reports
BY DAY?" or something very similar), I have found errors introduced in
the one step update procedure. The current one is that a transaction
that should have been placed in account A got placed in account B. I'd
like to place it back in acount A.

Is there an easier way than to write it down, erase it from account A,
and manually enter it into account B?

Cut and paste transaction(s)?

Right click and select "Move Transaction"

Sorry...I've answered my own question.

Hi, Gary.

So, what was the answer?

Maybe this: Right-click the transaction in the "wrong" Register and choose
Move transaction.

I don't know if this works with downloaded transactions; it works fine with
mistakes I've made manually.
