I recently had my Vanguard Investments account number changed. How can I
handle this so I can continue to receive downloaded transactions into the
same register?

I changed the account number. Should I deactivate and then activate
downloaded transactions? (When I tried to do this, the program didn't allow
me to deactivate downloaded transactions.)

Thanks in advance for any help.

Yes I think you need to deactivate, then reactivate the account
for transaction download. You don't provide any specific
information about what happened when you tried to do so. (I
don't know if it matters, but I would not try to change the
account number while the account was "activated".)

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately I had changed the account number, and
that apparently was not allowing me to then deactivate the account.
Fortunately I was able to go to a backup copy before the account number was
changed, and was then able to deactivate.

I just had my account numbers changed at Vanguard also. I had each fund
set up as an individual Quicken Account. I think now that I have to
combine all the funds that are in one Vanguard Account Number. Is this
correct?

I have 16 funds and 6 Vanguard Account Numbers. Quicken only finds 5 of
the 6. Is there a limit to 5 Accounts per Financial Institution?

My bad. I found one account that I had not deactivated.

Thanks,

Ron
