I am using quicken 2006 premier and I converted from msmoney but my
credit card accounts were created as bank accounts, how can I change
them to credit card accounts? If I edit account details I can see that
the accounts were created as bank accounts but there does not seem to
be a way to change the account type. Or should I even be concerned
about having the credit card accounts being set up as bank accounts?

I'm not sure of all the ramifications, but you might not be able
to download to them if they are not Quicken credit card
accounts.

There is no way to change the type of a Quicken account (with
one or two, non-pertinent exceptions). But you can create new
accounts of the correct type, select all the transactions in the
old account, then cut/paste them into the appropriate new
account.

If your transactions are Reconciled, you may find it easier to
do a "copy" then paste.

When finished with the old account(s), delete them.

(Make a backup before you start anything.)
